Polo Friendly Match, 1pm Sunday 9th December.
Frome Club have confirmed that they are bringing 2 teams to play polo on Sunday, one youth, one adult team. Should be fun! Please let me know if you are planning to come so that we know we can field at least 2 teams

12 till 1pm is the standard open session for rolling, skills etc

I had a sniff around Frome's website:

Quote
OUR FIRST POLO COMPETITION
This is a new thing for us. We have been practising polo at the pool and now we have a chance to put all the skills to the test!
A competition against Salisbury CC at a pool near there. They have suggested a Beginners team, a Ladies team (both no pushing in) and an Open team with normal rules.
Do sign up for this one. It should be really exciting. We will need to leave about 11.30, but more details nearer the time.
When Sun 9 Dec 2012
Where SP4 8HH, Durrington Leisure Centre (map)

Is Helen flying the flag for our ladies team on her own??

Plus looking at the open game being "Normal Rules" suggest our teams should maybe try and have a look at the rules before Sunday?
All.... Good luck!  ;)

Did we win??

Not all the matches!! But it was pretty even in the end with Salisbury Youth and Ladies doing really well and Frome adult teams really running away with it over the Salisbury teams. We were a little short on players and Frome put us to shame with four teams and a significant amount of poolside support!! Looking forward to a return match next year - we'll have to get practicing ;D ;D

Frome have posted some photos here http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157632230848209/with/8267301839/

They did have 4 layers of black tape around them! Unfortunately they probably wont look quite so nice now when she strips the tape off !

Pool session this Saturday at 5 Rivers 6.30-8.30pm, Rolling practice and rescues.

Could do with a hand at the club on Saturday ~5.30 pm  to put some airbags back in the pool boats and to put Canadians on car/trailer etc. If anyone could take one of the Canadians that would be great.
