You forgot about a sheet? ???

The only thing missing off your list of toys are Land Rovers - nobody should be without one, although I once had 4! - Not really, it was only 3 Land Rovers plus one Range Rover ::)
Maybe that is why I am still a bachellor!

Owning a land Rover is the equivalent to owning a wife. They need so much maintenance!  :P

Anyone know of a reasonably priced slalom kayak for a larger paddler?

Apologies to mark who's thread seems to have been taken over! As far as I'm aware know body in the club has that type of boat. Here's the place to look - Pointy-Silly boats are us.com

Mark,

Exeter CC are having a boat clearout, and amongst them is a Mi slalom kayak for £75. I have no idea what weight it will take but the photo makes it look bigger than the old North Shore Avanti which I have in my garage (and I am too heavy for and it does not belong to me). I dont know the boat but could have a look if you want.

It is on the attached page http://www.exetercanoeclub.org.uk/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=6&topic=86&Itemid=69

Let me know...

Thanks Kev & Nigel.  A slight tangent!!  I only have 3 boats but no Landrovers or motorbikes but I do have a body board!  I wanted a cheap slalom boat for the fitness training on a Tuesday (instead of lugging my G3 up and down the river) and as a excuse to paddle another type of boat to broaden my paddling experience.

Nigel, if you fit into the Exeter boat then I probably would!  It would be great if you could have a look please.

Cheers

Mark

Mark,

I will look at the boat at some time this week - it was due to go on ebay with the others later in the week, but I have reserved it, and will bring it back to my house.

If you are not interested, I will put it on ebay on behalf of ECC myself.

If you are interested, then I will get it up to you somehow.

Once you have a slalom boat, you will need to buy another to meet Dave's suggested "norm" of 5 - and I might be able to help ;)

You will clearly need a sea kayak to add to your collection, and this Dagger Atlantis may be for sale soon at a very reasonable price

Thanks Mark, I'll have a look.  Nigel, that means I would have to do some more sea kayak trips.
