Anyone for a Salisbury to downton paddle? Most likely a morning.
Get on will have to be further down stream from the club, maybe the car park opposite the college? This is because the nadder has a fishing competition running. Either that or get on early enough so we clear the nadder before 10:15 which is easily doable.

Ok, we'll sort out final numbers sat night and work out times/route/shuttle aswell. From memory the trip can be easily done under 2 hours.
We will aim for a morning time?

A weekend off what?

It can't be kayaking.

I said I was having a month off wine. Which means that I managed a wine free night on Tuesday.

I hope you wont be drunk whilst incharge of your craft!

It's either get on before the fishing starts or anytime providing we get on down stream. Mark contacted me showing his interested but could only make the afternoon. What are peoples thoughts?
We cannot start too late as sun set will be at approx 16:20. We'd have to be setting up a shuttle by 1, ready to get on at 1:30-2ish.

My preference would be am 10ish start at colledge car park, however I'll go with whatever is best for all.

cheers Gordon

Ah - I've just registered!  I have Remberance Parade with the Scouts from 10:50 until around 11:30, so I should be able to get to the clubhouse for 12:15 - 12:30.

If anyone is not watching the outcome of our trip on the ukriversguidebook, have a look at this link

Gordon has established that the Police will not get involved in a trespass, especially were there is some doubt as to the legal situation.

There has also been a result on the threatening behaviour of the Longford Estate staff.

I am awaiting a response from the environment agency to either confirm that there is a legal navigation, or not. In either case, I have asked for their legal reasoning.
