13/14 Nov 10 Free coaching on Dart

This has come through on my Exeter CC newsletter.

Weekend 13/14 November Hi everyone , we require some learners for free coaching on the weekend of 13th and 14th November 2010 or please pass on to any one that may like to come

It will based at the river dart and we would like kayakers that are around the 2-3 star level to be taught over the two days by the clients going for assessment.

both days meeting at the river dart country park at 9 am and finishing by 3.30 pm each day

If you can make it please let me know by email and i will add you to the list

you will have to still pay the £5 to park for the day and use the showers etc but its a free two days of coaching. please bring your own kayak and kit or let me know and i may be able to lend you one out of our store.Regards

I must confess I had you, and perhaps Matt, in mind when I posted the details - if either or both of you are keen, I would recommend that you contact them sooner rather than later. If it helps with costs, I can put you up here in Okehampton, which is about 50 mins - 1hr away from River Dart country park. It would also mean kit could be dried before Sunday, but you would owe me a pint! But nothing with Chilies in

I am not intending to join the course though. However, if others are able to come down, I would not mind a Dart trip or perhaps another river, or make a weekend of it and do a few rivers.

Great offer thanks Nigel but the Saturday is a no go for me that weekend, Sundays are always free but I work Saturdays normally. Thanks again for having me in mind, I will contact them and see if they need extras for Sunday as there may be people in the opposite situation to me.

I've just realised that I've got Scouts working on the watermeadows on the Saturday, but could also do the Sunday!
