I fancy a sea trip on Sunday if Gordon does the organising.

I have a spare boat if anyone wants to join us.

OK its organised
Meet my house 8:45, Bournemouth canoes, pick up W18, 10:ish, drive to Kimmerage bay & launch 11+, paddle till tired (Lulworth/Durdle door) rtn Kimmerage some time after 4pm. Tides are all wrong but weather is benign at the mo, subject to change if anyone else wishes to propose an alternative. This trip is not scary as long as wind is F3 or below (current forecast F2)

Whats W18?

Have to admit, weather looking like it is, if you could accomidate a weaker paddler.... I may be interested. Though a was hoping it would be morning or afternoon rather than the whole day.

W18 is a Whiskey 18 kayak that Gordon wishes to demo.

Unfortunatley, such a trip cannot be done in just a morning or afternoon, but they are not usually too late return.

Unless I hear otherwise, the boat is booked to you. (but see below)

I think that Kev will testify that it is very hard work to keep up with sea kayaks in anything which is not a sea kayak. I will leave Gordon to decide as it is his trip.

However, if Gordon is testing the Whiskey 18, then he will not be using his other sea kayak. So perhaps this could work-

Gordon - Whiskey 18
Me - P&H Scorpio
Kev - Gordon's Rainbow (it is more tippy than my Atlantis)
Mark - My Dagger Atlantis

just a thought?

and then there is Dave in yellow if available?

I have been looking at a map of the area, and can't find a vehicle access to Kimmerage Bay - is there one?

If not, would it work the other way from Ringstead?
