Roughly how much would this trip cost all in??? (Inc. fuel (if there's a spare seat ofcourse), ticket to get on water, kit hire from our club etc, any planned breakfast stops).

Merci beaucoup!

Please could anybody else planning on going this weekend let me know if there will be a spare seat.

I believe both Pete and Kev's cars are full.

Cheers

Is there a list of who is going in what and when?

I would like to join you and would be prepared to drive. However, I would rather meet en-route rather than drive down to Salisbury from Market Lavington.

Nigel,

If I can somehow ??? organise getting a boat, paddle and bouyancy aid from the club house, I could stay over a friend's house in Orcheston Saturday night, and meet you Sunday AM.

Have you managed to arrange a Club boat and kit?

I am not totally against coming down to Salisbury to collect you if there are no easy alternatives. It will add a couple of extra hours travelling over the day, but that isn't an issue. However, according to Google maps, it is 79 miles from my house to Cardiff, and if I go via Salisbury it is 120 miles. 240 miles travelling for the day. So long as the fuel costs are adequately shared, it would not be a problem and might be easier than arranging an overnight stay.

If you can get Pete to go via the Club house on Sunday morning, he could open up the clubhouse for boat and kit. I could meet you there. (Kev - it is not too far out of the way if you wanted picking up in Trowbridge on our way through).

If this is the option, could somebody let me know timings. The pumps are not turned on until 11am.

Nigel

Hey,

Sorry to mess everyone about.....

My fun filled weekend has just been destroyed.....car just failed MOT miserably. Im going to be sourcing parts, spending money, and fitting parts probably all of Sat, and most of Sunday. Magic.
 :(

Hope everyone has a wicked time. Take lots of pictures.

Regards

Dan

Dan, sorry about the car.

Kev, the offer of a pick up from Trowbridge is still there.

I've just noticed above that Kev has a car full.

Unless I hear otherwise, I will head up myself.

Is anyone stopping for breakfast on the way? If so, where and when?

If not, I will see you all there 11ish but maybe a little later.
