Calandar

The trips are becoming confusing. Can we all have a chat at the Saturday Pool session to fix dates?

Personally, I would like a session at Nene in March to throw myself into stoppers and deal with the the consequences. a session on the Tryweryn in May to build up confidence on big water, before going to the Alps in June.

In the short term, I would like to do the Axe Race on 7 March (Mark - are you on for this as you suggested it?)

Edit- I have just noticed that this is my 100th post!

Oh ... and gordon, i dont suppose you still have thoes dates for suitable tides times in july? Stick them on here then we'll thrash out the date to go!

EDIT

Found them! :

Quote
Neap dates for July Aug are July 4th 7 18th , Aug 1st, 15th, (29th BH)

My suggestion is for one day each month, either lulworth-durdle door, keyhaven - IOW, trips weather dependant with a fall back for bad weather lepe - beaulieu, or the river avon if the heavens & wind go bonkers.

cheers Gordon

Yeah so ... there you go, who wants to go where and when (i dont understand this salty talk so i'll let the old sea dogs do the talking! ;))

OK Neap - slowest current/Tidal flow
    Spring - Fastest current/flow
Beginners = Neaps (safest), therefore in July either the 4th or 18th, Lulworth - Durdle door (probably far enough in small boats, good rockhopping potential)
August  1st - 15th - or (29th BH) fine weather Keyhaven - IOW, (bad weather Lepe - Beaulieu)

18th July Lulworth
1st Aug IOW
Are these dates suitable?
