It sounds like a nice paddle which is popular with kayaks, and relatively hassle free.

I am definately interested in this trip and any others that are not to difficult for me but cannot commit till closer to the date due to not knowing future work commitments

Yes, but times are TBC. Most likely reaching the venue by 10, getting on by 11am. Can you make that Rich?
