Is there a basic list of H&S stuff we need on the water. I have first aid kit,  and a 25 m throw line. Anything else? Should we all be carrying it?

What about kit for the hostel.

Do we need sleeping bags? Dave was saying basic food is expensive (£1.50 ish for baked beans for example) - what should we buy before we go?

and last, but most important, is the red wine cheap?

Don't shoot the messenger, I may have misunderstood, the chappie from Tesco Ins reckons my cover would only be 3rd party, with green card thingy I'd be fully comp. Simples (maybe I should compare the Meercat?)

This link has a series of webcams from the area.

From UKRGB, it sounds as though the rivers are high and not expected to fall for the next few weeks.

More random question's, I plan to get a CC, will put all fuel/tolls/other group fees, then settle with Dave's CC bill when we get back.
My suggestion is we group all bills together & divide by six (is that ok?)
I've put Nigel on my ins, we're using Iain as recovery, is it worth putting IaIN ON MY INS AS WELL?
I may just put a few bottles of wine in car (carefully hidden otherwise N may drink before we get to Dover, on the way out ;D)

Chalet should be fully equipped, unless your getting a nationwide cc it would be cheaper to put it all on
mine. No need to put Iain on your insurance,I was only asking about it as a bonus

Nationwide CC is in the post, Though as we were using Iain as recovery, it would be sensible to have another driver, thoughts? are Pete, dave & kev on the other car?
